Why Mission First Alliance?

Who is Mission First Alliance?

Mission First Alliance is a National Ministry uniting a movement to bring our Nation’s first responders the hope of Christ. The devastation and destruction is real. But Christ is greater. We work to bridge the gap between the body of Christ and the brave men and women who serve in the first responder culture. We work with everyone to build up and encourage those serving on the front lines each and every day. We know the positive impact having the right resources available can have on their lives and their families. This work is too important to do alone, but… when we are united together we can have a great impact.

What We Do

We Unite and Equip Organizations, Churches and Individuals who have a heart to reach our Nations First Responders for Christ.

We unite first responders to the resources and organizations who have a desire to reach them with the hope of the Gospel, connecting them to a network of support that will help them meet Jesus and then grow in their walk with the Lord.

We unite organizations, churches and individuals through shared initiatives and membership in our alliance. We work with everyone to bring Real Hope to the first responders in their local community and across the country.

We provide ongoing coaching and training to all our alliance members to be better equipped to understand the unique first responder culture. We facilitate monthly support groups to encourage and uplift each other to keep pursing this Mission.

We host annual summits and conferences to provide a place where alliance members can come together to collaborate and work together towards unified initiatives. There is incredible value that comes when we work together in this important Kingdom work.

With Your Help, We are Making a Difference for First Responders

Though we are still in the early development of Mission First Alliance, God has been laying the Foundation for this ministry for years. From the early years of his career as a Seattle Police Officer, the Lord was already at work in Jeremy’s life to open his eyes and his heart to help other first responders know the Hope of Christ.

Our Mission

Encouraging ministries and engaging the Church to equip our nation’s first responders and their families to live in Christ and on Mission.

There are many different ministries working to bring the hope of Christ to our nation’s first responders and their families. Many churches have the desire to reach them but struggle to know how. Unfortunately, most of these first responders and their families feel isolated, unaware of existing ministries, and unsupported by their local churches.

Mission First Alliance brings collaboration, awareness, and support to existing gospel focused ministries, and raises up ambassadors in local churches to effectively engage our nation’s first responders and their families. Our desire is to see collaboration to have a greater impact for the Kingdom of God. We hope to see first responders daily equipped to live in Christ and on mission among their families, coworkers, and communities.

Our Purpose

To unite and equip all who have a heart to reach our nation’s first responders for Christ.

Our Vision

Through a unified alliance of organizations, churches, and individuals, we desire to see the hope of Christ transform the hearts and identities of first responders, and their families, as they courageously serve on one of the greatest mission fields in our country.

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • That the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

  • In one God, the Creator; eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • That Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and that He was and remains true God and true man.

  • That God created Adam and Eve in the divine image; that they sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that, as a result of Adam’s sin, all human beings are now born with a sinful nature and stand guilty before God.

  • That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.

  • In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.

  • In the blessed hope of the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • That all who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

  • That the Holy Spirit indwells and gives spiritual life to all believers, enables them to understand biblical truth, empowers them for godly living, and equips them for service and witness.

  • In the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost

“First Responders serve in a world shadowed by tragedy and darkness. More than ever, our police and firefighter families need hope and encouragement based solidly in the truth of the gospel. (Colossians 2:8)”
