Mike Baldwin

Mike Baldwin is a retired detective from Arizona. Over the course of his 20-plus-year career, Mike served in a wide range of roles: Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator, Task Force Officer with the DEA, Sergeant, and Lead Detective in the Major Felons Unit. As a Detective, he honed his craft and became regarded as one of the department’s best interviewers, securing admissions and confessions from suspects involved in a variety of crimes. Throughout his career, he earned multiple departmental awards, citations for outstanding police work, and the respect of his peers. Mike also served as a mentor and example to younger detectives, an experience he found deeply rewarding.

For seven years, Mike volunteered as Head of Security for his home church in Arizona. He established a volunteer security team to safeguard church members and guests (the “Sheep”) under the watchful care of the security team (the “Sheepdogs”), protecting them against potential threats (the “Wolf”). This ministry continues even in his absence.

After earning his MBA, Mike retired from law enforcement and partnered with Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, managing the day-to-day operations for Grossman On Truth. This unique experience proved invaluable. He also co-authored The Bulletproof Mind Companion Book, which accompanies Col. Grossman’s Bulletproof Mind presentation.

Mike now lives near Greenville, SC, to be closer to family and is seeking his next career challenge. He is a devoted husband, father of two adult children, and a Christian man who seeks to honor God in all he does.
