Support Marcus & Peggy Allred’s Ministry with Mission First Alliance

Help bring support to alliance members and hope to first responders

For over 24 years, Marcus Allred has worked alongside first responders—first with the Winston-Salem Police Department, and later in the public safety software industry. Through it all, Marcus saw the emotional and spiritual toll this line of work can take—not just on first responders, but on their families as well.

As time went on, God began to stir something deeper in Marcus’ heart. He realized that while many first responders are brave in the face of crisis, few have experienced the real, lasting hope that only comes through Christ. Even those who identified as Christians often struggled to live out their identity in Him.

“God was using my experiences to open my eyes to an urgent mission field—and to call us into it.”

From Awareness to Action

In 2023, Marcus watched a powerful documentary called PTSD911, highlighting the mental and emotional toll on the 4.6 million first responders across the nation. While the film offered support and resources, Marcus realized one thing was still missing: Christ.

Soon after, Marcus discovered Mission First Alliance, a ministry launched in 2023 by Jeremy and Ketryna Wade. Their mission resonated deeply.

As Marcus and his wife Peggy got to know the Wades, attended events, and volunteered with the ministry, their desire to serve grew. They began praying for clarity and availability—trusting God to make a way.

A Step of Faith

On February 10, 2025, Marcus was unexpectedly let go from his job. While the news was shocking, it quickly became clear that God was already preparing their hearts for full-time ministry.

Now, Marcus and Peggy are stepping out in faith to serve full-time with Mission First Alliance—joining the effort to bring real hope to those on the front lines. We desire this gospel-focused first responder alliance to grow in depth through relationships and discipleship, which will require more intentional and regular engagement from an Alliance Coordinator. Marcus is perfectly suited to fill this role.

Hear Marcus & Peggy how God led them here.
